🌧️ Rain, Grit & Goals: Y5 Girls Shine at Stockton Final
Despite the gloomy skies and relentless rain, our girls team stepped onto the pitch with determination, energy, and smiles that even the grey clouds couldn’t hide. Conditions were far from ideal, with slippery astro and soaking kits, but that didn’t stop them from giving it absolutely everything.
While the competition didn’t quite go the way they had hoped, what truly stood out was their resilience. They never stopped running. They never stopped tackling. And most importantly, they never stopped encouraging one another. Every challenge was met with grit, every setback with positivity.
Watching them battle through the rain showed exactly what team spirit is all about. Win or lose, their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship were outstanding — and that’s something just as important than any final score.
They should be incredibly proud of their achievement in representing the school so brilliantly. Rain-soaked boots and all, they showed heart, courage, and determination from start to finish.
