🔍 Year 5LM thoroughly enjoyed a special visit from Durham University today. The children took part in an exciting workshop where they stepped into the role of archaeologists, exploring a range of Ancient Greek artefacts. Without being given any prior information, they carefully examined each item, sketched their observations, and used their reasoning skills to work out what the artefacts might have been used for. A team of Year 4 pupils headed over to Northfield School this morning to take part in a fantastic summer athletics tournament. ☀️🏃♂️
They ran, jumped, and threw to the very best of their ability, showing great endeavour, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event. It was wonderful to see them supporting other schools and cheering for each other all morning.
