Welcome to
Fairfield Primary School
Welcome to the Fairfield Primary School website and thank you for showing an interest in our caring and nurturing school.
We are very proud to be at the centre of the Fairfield community and within the larger family of Stockton, the North East and England.
We seek to nurture caring, well-educated, well-behaved and law-abiding citizens who show respect for others, for people’s property, for the environment and our heritage. The school provides a secure, inclusive, family atmosphere that we are all proud of.

In Art, Year 6 pupils drew King Henry VIII using their sketching and proportion skills. They carefully observed facial features and clothing details, using light sketch lines to plan their work before adding darker lines and shading. The children focused on correct proportions to create a realistic portrait and developed their confidence in drawing historical figures. The finished artwork demonstrated excellent attention to detail and creativity.
In Science, Year 6 used an interactive app to learn about voltmeters and how they are used to measure voltage in electrical circuits. They explored how voltage changes within a circuit and developed their understanding of electrical components. The children then applied their knowledge by designing and building their own electrical circuits, testing and investigating how they worked. This hands-on activity helped bring their Electricity topic to life and encouraged excellent scientific thinking and problem-solving skills. ... See MoreSee Less

Year 6 have been busy investigating electricity. They explored how increasing the voltage in a circuit affects the brightness of a bulb. The children made predictions, carried out their investigations, and recorded their findings on an investigation sheet.
To further test their theories, they used an electricity app to build and experiment with virtual circuits, helping them deepen their understanding of how electrical components work together. ... See MoreSee Less
