What an amazing day the Year 3 children had at the Oriental Museum in Durham! It was an amazing way to start their history unit of work all about the Ancient Egyptians! The day consisted of an artifact handling session, where the children had to work out the story behind the Egyptian artefact, a museum trail, a 'meet the mummy' experience and a drama-based workshop all about the mummification process!
