**The Eco Heroes have been working very hard and it is great to announce that the school has been awarded the GREEN FLAG STATUS for another 2 years! Well done to the Eco Hero Team**

Each class, from Year 1 to Year 6, elects a representative for Eco Heroes. Eco Heroes have an active role in school. They raise our awareness about sustainability and encourage everyone to be good at recycling and saving energy, along with raising awareness of global issues. We encourage good habits for the future of our planet.

Mrs Strachan runs the Eco Heroes club. Children meet once, every half term, on a Wednesday or Thursday. We are very proud to be Green flag holders, the highest award as an Eco-School. For this award we had to have a visit from an Eco schools representative and discuss our projects with him. We were awarded our Green flag in October 2018 and so this lasts for two years. We are currently working on our application for renewal in the autumn term.

We encourage all of our children to be Eco-Heroes in their own way by looking at how they can connect with nature and take care of our planet.

What it does: Wordfence offers a feature for a site visitor to bypass country blocking by accessing a hidden URL. This cookie helps track who should be allowed to bypass country blocking.

Who gets this cookie: When a hidden URL defined by the site admin is visited, this cookie is set to verify the user can access the site from a country restricted through country blocking.
