How to Apply

Here at Fairfield, we value the importance of giving every child the strong foundations that they need to be happy and successful in life. Joining our Nursery is the very start of your child’s educational journey with us.  When they turn 3, they will attend our warm and welcoming Nursery where we are fortunate enough to have a range of experienced and enthusiastic staff who will help to nurture your child and prepare them for life at Fairfield. It is currently lead by two teachers and is supported by both level 2 and level 3 teaching assistants. Children start school full time in the September following their 4th birthday. Our Reception team has two passionate early years teachers with each class having their own teaching assistant to help your child to achieve their full potential.

In the Early Years Foundation Stage children learn best when they experience learning first hand, through meaningful interactions with others, through physical activity and through play. Our Early Years practice is based on on-going observation and assessment of the children and their interests. We believe the best outcomes for children’s learning occur from either child-initiated play which is often observed and then actively supported by adults, or from focused learning, with adults guiding the learning through playful, rich and experiential activities.

We are currently allocating places in our nursery for next September.

If your child turns three before the 31st August 2025 and you are interested in a nursery place please contact our school office for further details.
